It’s time to welcome 2025 with our January Dog of the Month, the Zealous and Zestful Zoey! This lovely red Labrador Retriever has a lot of spirit. Like many Labs, Zoey loves her people! We always love showering her with extra attention, who could resist that face? When she’s not getting the affirmation that yes, she is a good girl, she loves romping around with a few of her regular buddies. You’ll often see her play-bowing and bouncing around with Elway or chasing a Kong with Beretta- it’s so cute! She’s a big goofball when she’s playing with her friends and we love having her in our playgroups. Congratulations Zoey, for earning your spot as our first Dog of the Month in 2025!

Meet our February Dogs of the Month, the adventurous Artemis and precious Pippa! The spirit of love and loyalty is in the air this month, and these two embody that perfectly. Artemis is ready to play with her friends at any time of the day, bringing the fun with her bundle of energy. She is always ready to brighten up any room with her playful antics. Pippa has proven to be the perfect companion with her regal & gentle presence, keeping the others around her at ease. This bond is undeniable, and their affection for each other– and humans– makes Pippa & Artemis the perfect sibling duo to represent the month of love! We’re so happy to have these lovely ladies as our February Dogs of the Month!

March is Molly’s month! As a young lady, she is full of enthusiasm and always ready for fun – especially when it comes to play time with her best friends Bash and Oliver. Molly’s irresistible excitement creates a fun and lively atmosphere for both dogs and humans alike. Not only is she energetic, but her incredibly social nature helps her make friends easily and thrive in our ever changing daycare environment. Molly’s friendly, approachable demeanor allows her to form strong bonds with other dogs, ensuring she always has a playmate. She may be vivacious, but she is also an amazing listener. Molly will sit when told, which makes her a role model in the playgroup as well. We are so happy to announce Molly as the March Dog of the Month!

Join us in welcoming in 2023 with our January Dog of the Month, the lovely & laudable Lola! Lola is incredibly popular here at the Dog Lodge & boy does she know it! She’s always ready to run the show here and announce her arrival. Lola loves to play with her best buddies, especially her brother Titus. Like all Miniature Dachshunds, Lola is incredibly affectionate. She loves to snuggle up in your lap and cover you in kisses! But Miss Lola knows to keep her poise and mind her manners. Lola won’t shove anyone out of her way for pets and will patiently wait her turn for attention. If you don’t notice her at first, Lola will vie for your attention by rolling on her back and begging sweetly! We are so pleased to have Miss Lola as our first Dog of the Month for 2023! What a wonderful start to the year, congrats Lola!

Meet our February Dog of the Month, the giddy & grinning Gypsy! This lovely lady is the Doodle Queen as she often leads the gang of happy, playful Doodles in a rigorous play day whenever she’s in daycare! It doesn’t just stop at the Doodles though- everyone loves Gypsy! This energetic girl loves to play all day with anyone who can keep up. Her positive attitude is infectious and we’re often beaming alongside Gypsy as she bounds around the room. Gypsy is one of the most happy-go-lucky dogs you’ll ever meet with a permanent smile attached to her face. We are so thrilled to have her as our February Dog of the Month! Congrats, Gypsy!

Meet our March Dog of the Month, the radiant Rosie! This sweet Labradoodle is a regular amongst the Tuesday Daycare crowd. This lady is energetic and full of joy- if Tigger were a dog, it’d be Rosie! She loves bouncing around with her besties, especially if they’re chasing a Kong! Rosie is also incredibly affectionate towards our staff. She starts off shy with strangers, but all she needs is a little love to open up. Once she does open up, Rosie is all about her people! Rosie loves nuzzling up to us and is often trying to get extra attention and pets. We are more than happy to oblige! Rosie has earned her spot as our March Dog of the Month. Congratulations Miss Rosie! We love you!

Meet our Dog of the Month and our own April Fool: the Great Goof Gordie! Gordie is an energetic & fun-loving chocolate Labrador Retriever who loves to come in for Daycare to see all his pals, canine and human. Gordie’s favorite thing is to play with all our toys in the playroom! Whether he’s running around with a Kong in his mouth or chasing after a Jolly Ball, Gordie is always staying busy with something and someone. The only thing he loves more than a toy is sharing it with a friend! If he doesn’t have a playmate, Gordie will trot around the room with a Kong hanging from his mouth looking to invite a friend to play tug. Gordie always makes sure to bring the fun and enthusiasm with him! We love you, Gordie! Congratulations on becoming our April Dog of the Month!

Meet our May Dog of the Month, the darling Dash! This lovely little lady has been coming to daycare since she was just a puppy in the Small group. Though she stayed fairly small in stature, Dash grew up to be a key member of our Medium crew of party animals. She bursts in the door every morning ready to start the day! Dash loves to play with her friends and toss around the Kongs, but her favorite is the human staff. She’s a sensitive soul and knows how to milk the staff for extra attention, which we’re glad to give to her! No one can resist Dash’s big puppy eyes. We’re always cooing over Dash and giving her extra cuddles! We’re thrilled to have Dash be our May Dog of the Month. Congratulations, Dash!

Meet our June Dog of the Month, the exemplary and ever-energetic Elway! Elway is a true force of positivity. This man bursts through the door with a big smile on his face and that smile never seems to leave him! He loves everything about his time at Daycare- from the staff to the dogs to the toys. Elway's always full of enthusiasm; he makes fast friends with anyone who can keep up with him. You can always find Elway bouncing around with a pal or two. Everyone loves running around with Elway, especially when they can toss around a Kong together. He is all about playtime and the only thing he loves more is when his favorite staff members take the time to give him extra pets. We are so happy to announce Elway as our June Dog of the Month. Congrats Elway!

Meet our July Dog of the Month, the Rambunctious Remy! Remy is a stunning Siberian Husky who absolutely loves Daycare. Like most Huskies, Remy’s majestic appearance and natural grace disguise the true joker within. He enjoys playing the fool and goofing off with his buddies. One thing that Remy loves more than anything is the water- he’s always looking to dig in the community water buckets to get a nice puddle on the floor to splash in. Needless to say, when we bring the pools out for summer Remy is ecstatic! He loves splashing around with all his friends- he dances and bounces in the water with a passion & eagerness that can’t be matched. No matter how many Labradors, Retrievers, or Newfies we have in group, Remy will always beat them to the pool! We are so proud to call him our July Dog of the Month, congrats Remy!

Meet our August Dog of the Month, Celine! This Bichon Frise is quite the charming character. She has the looks, sass, and confidence of a superstar. Her perfect bouffant, pink studded collar, and deep, soulful eyes win over everyone she comes across. She's the prettiest guard dog of our General Area and will let strangers know she's not messing around! Celine is a lady with standards and she can be particular about the company she keeps. She has good taste though, because she loves all the staff at the Dog Lodge! Celine trots in for daycare everyday ready to party with her favorite people. We all love our quality time with Celine, as she’s quite affectionate and loves to let loose with us! Congratulations, Miss Celine, on earning the title of August Dog of the Month! We love you!

Meet our September Dogs of the Month, the dynamic duo Boomer & Yoshi! These two may be brothers, but they have vastly different personalities. Boomer, the black Labrador Retriever, is more reserved, cautious, & introverted. He enjoys playing with his regular friends and loves to snuggle with his favorite staff members, but can take a moment to be comfortable with strangers. Yoshi, on the other hand, is an extroverted cannon of fluff and joy! You may notice that Yoshi is rather large for a Doodle- that’s because he’s a Saint Bernard/Doodle mix. This big guy is incredibly accepting and always comes in ready to party with everyone and anyone! These two may be different, but they love each other’s company more than anything. We are so excited to announce Boomer & Yoshi as our September Dogs of the Month! Congratulations, boys!

Meet our October Dog of the Month, the Rockin Roxy! Roxy is a member of our favorite breed, rescue! Her lithe build makes us think she has Whippet or Terrier in her, but it’s unsure. What we do know is that Roxy is full of moxie, perk, & devotion! Roxy can hardly contain her excitement when she comes in, she performs a little ‘Hula Dance’ until we take her back to her friends. Roxy wastes no time here at daycare and loves to spend every second she can playing with her best human & dog friends. Roxy stands on her hind legs, paws on our shoulders, to express her love with hugs. Although cautious of strangers, her smiling eyes reflect warmth and adoration when she sees her favorite people. We all look forward to our days with Roxy, October’s Dog of the Month! Congratulations, Miss Roxy!

Meet our November Dog of the Month, the Nefariously Nimble and Notoriously Notable Nina! Nina is a 4 year old German Shepherd who always makes herself known here at the Dog Lodge. She comes in eagerly bounding through the door, announcing to all that she’s ready to head to playgroup! Like many German Shepherds, Nina is impressively animated and alert, often seen dashing around at the heels of whoever she fancies is her newest companion. Nina lives to impress, whether it be her dog pals or the staff here. She’ll play with her friends tirelessly, tossing the Kong around and eagerly egging on for a game of chase. This lady is brimming with enthusiasm and it’s infectious! We’re so excited to announce Nina as our November Dog of the Month! Congratulations Nina!

Meet our December Dog of the Month, the Terrific Taliya! Taliya’s early life led her to being a part of a hoarding situation but thankfully, she was picked up by rescue. She was extremely overweight and broken-hearted. After some rehabilitation, she was adopted by her amazing and doting mom! Taliya is happy to say she has lost all her excess weight, even passing her most recent check-up with her nutritionist with flying colors! She’s a true rescue success story, full of spirit and living her best life! Now, Taliya comes in for daycare each week ready for her Best Day Ever! Taliya trots around with a smile on her face and a song in her heart that she’s always ready to let out. Whenever Taliya’s excited, she sings the cutest little howls of joy- it’s our favorite thing to hear every week! We are so pleased to have Miss Taliya as our December Dog of the Month! Congrats!

Let's give a shout-out to our first 2021 Dog of the Month, Miss Molly! This sassy Labrador is a well-known and well-loved part of our daycare crew. Molly is one of the nicest dogs you'll ever meet. She always comes trotting in with her trademark smile, ready to greet our staff with a wagging tail and a lot of licks! We all love our visits with Molly and appreciate her singing to us during play time. She howls and stomps her feet, demanding applause and pets from our staff throughout the day! Molly is captured the hearts of everyone she has met. If her idle, laid back demeanor and friendly face make her incredibly approachable and easy to get along with. In between naps, she likes to gently wrestle on the floor or share a kong with a friend (like her boyfriend Cooper). Molly brings a warmth and love with her everywhere she goes. Thank you Molly for bringing us joy throughout 2020, we look forward to the delight you will bring in the years to come!

Meet our February Dog of the Month, the boisterous Bauer! This handsome golden has a big personality and always comes in ready to make an impact. Bauer’s a social guy who loves to goof off with his buddies and is always looking to make new friends. If he’s not bounding around the room with a pal, he’s talking up a storm with whoever will listen. Bauer LOVES to talk and has a lot to say! While playing with the toys, he never can keep the Kong in his mouth for too long since the second he sees you he’s ready to chat. Bauer is full of positivity, optimism and is always ready to do something! Even when he lays down for a break, he’ll pop right back up five minutes later ready to make the rounds one more time. Bauer always adds that spark of energy and zing to our day and for this, we are happy to call him our February Dog of the Month! We love you, Bauer!

Meet our March Dog of the Month, Everest! Everest is a staple for our small dog daycare crew. This handsome boy is ready to make anyone his new best friend! Everest likes to make the rounds and play with everyone he can. He'll do it all, from playing keep away with the Kongs to wrestling on the ground. Everest is incredibly enthusiastic and always in a great mood! His high spirits and carefree smile definitely uplift everyone around him. Typical for a Tibetan Terrier, he can be stubborn at times- usually when it's time to come inside! He loves to run in the sunshine with his pals. We always welcome Everest's lighthearted and fun-loving energy. We're so happy to call him our March Dog of the Month! We love you, little dude!

Give a big hello to our April Dog of the Month, Walter! This energetic Aussiedoodle is a breed all his own. Walter is always animated and ready to play with all the toys he can! His favorites are the big Jolly Balls, which he'll kick all around the room. He likes to mimic a seal and bounce them on his nose. Not only that, but Walter is always ready to make a splash- literally! He loves to drop Kongs in the water and try to fish them out. In the summer, he's bounding through the pools, leading a pack to follow behind him. Walter is fairly independent- as long as he has his toys to play with. He can easily wear himself out and have enough fun for everyone! He's got an abundance of enthusiasm and love for life that cannot be matched. Congrats Walter! We're so excited to have you as our April Dog of the Month!

Meet our May Dog of the Month, the lively Luna! This stunning White German Shepherd is a regular part of our daycare crew. From rags to riches, this beauty has quite the rescue story behind her. She was rescued a year ago after being abandoned in a home as a pup. She suffered tremendous anxiety and fear towards people after this event. Through the support and compassion of her Shepherd sister Nikita and wonderfully patient owners, Luna has blossomed into a fun-loving Lady! She is incredibly intelligent and inquisitive. Often you'll see her studying her friends play behaviors to find the best way to join in. There's a lot going on behind those beautiful eyes! Luna is a terrific friend to have and has formed strong bonds with many of our regular dogs. She's always ready to start her day with zoomies and a game of chase with all her buddies. Once she settled in, she is immensely affectionate - if you're near the floor she'll nuzzle against you. Luna is an endearing dog that we are grateful to have welcomed into our hearts! We are so proud to have you as our Dog of the Month! We love you girl!

Meet our June Dogs of the Month, the Dynamic Doodle Duo Ella & Poppy! These stylish sisters are always ready to party. Ella is a carefree & charming Golden Doodle and Poppy is a bold & beautiful Sheepadoodle. Of the two, Ella is more dependent on her sister and often checks in on her. Her care and concern extends to the humans in her life as well. Incredibly affectionate, Ella is always ready to bound into your arms! Miss Poppy is more independent. Her hair is always well-styled into a ponytail or pigtails, which is probably why she’s so confident. Poppy knows she looks good and she loves to flaunt it! Despite their differences, these sisters are inseparable- the love to carouse around the room together, toss around the kongs together, and take a dip in the pool together! Once they’re tired out, you’ll find them cozied up on the Kuranda bed for a well-earned nap! We love the joy and cheer these girls carry with them wherever they go, which is why they are perfect June Dogs of the Month! Congrats, girls, we love you!

Say hello to our July Dog of the Month, Rocco! This little guy is a Boxer/German Shepherd mix. Just like all our German Shepherds, Rocco likes to assist our staff in keeping the groups safe. He may be small in size but he’s got a big bark! He’s always ready to tell us what’s going on and what he thinks about it. Rocco’s a sensitive soul who loves attention from our staff- and we love giving it to him! It’s hard to say no to those sweet brown eyes. Rocco has some great pup pals, most notably the sassy sisters Reilly and Quinn. The three make up a trio to be reckoned with and love to party together every Friday! We love little Rocco and the big impact he has on our lives! Congrats on Dog of the Month, Rocco, you deserve it!

Meet our August Dog of the Month, Nahla! This darling Bichon Frise is a favorite amongst our staff. Nahla’s one of the cutest pups you’ll ever see, but this little lady has all the confidence of a German Shepherd! She is independent, fierce, and always ready to stand up for herself. Just like all Bichons, Nahla has a happy-go-lucky personality and lives to impress. She’s always ready to dance for attention and show off her cute new collars and bows! We love showering Nahla with affection and giving her extra cuddles. We can always count on her to bring us the ideal blend of sass, spunk and sweetness to our play groups.This energetic party girl has well earned her title of August Dog of the Month! Congratulations, Nahla, we love you!

Let's all give a big cheer for our September Dog of the Month, the rambunctious Raider! This striking jet-black German Shepherd is more than just a pretty face. He's intelligent, adventurous, and a party machine! We always know when Raider arrives- he bursts through the door ready to make the most of his day. This natural leader will quickly amass a following. Everyone wants to splash with Raider in the pool and race around the room with him! The only time we don't see this wild man bounding around with his crew is when he's checking out all the toys. Not one to miss out, Raider makes sure he gets a chance to chase every ball and will toss around each Kong in his path. We love Raider's zest for life and are thrilled to have him as our September Dog of the Month! Congrats, buddy!

Say hello to our October Dog of the Month, Henry! You may recognize this handsome Poodle mix, Henry is often spotted by our clients when he bounces to look through the window to see who’s in the lobby! His plucky, free-spirited attitude is infectious and brings joy to anyone who sees him! Henry loves to be the center of attention. He bounces behind staff members to get their focus and bounds around his friends to get them to play! His favorite activity is to splash in the water dish and knock the bowl around. When he needs a break, Henry likes to lounge on the Kuranda beds and chew on his favorite tire toy. We love Henry’s enthusiasm and spunk as he truly uplifts our spirits! Congratulations on being our October Dog of the Month, Henry, you earned it!

Meet our November Dog of the Month, the lovely Lola! Lola is an energetic, spunky Labradoodle who loves to party it up with us at the Dog Lodge! We love Lola’s feisty spirit. It’s hard not to smile when she comes in with her face beaming and tail wagging! But don’t let her sweet face fool you, Lola loves rough housing with her wild friends. She’s often bouncing around the room, chasing after her buddies and having a blast. Her endless bounds of energy and zeal means making new friends is effortless. Lola gets along with just about anyone who’s ready to play! She’s a wonderful addition to our playgroups and we love every day we get to spend with her! Congratulations, Lola! Your spot as Dog of the Month is well earned!

Meet our December Dog of the Month, the magnificent Maverick! Maverick is one of the most handsome German Shepherd Dogs you’ll ever meet. His deep eyes speak to a wisdom and maturity beyond his years. Maverick is a gentle giant, he’s soft spoken and fairly shy when he first comes in. His personality is the opposite to our more rowdy German Shepherds, Maverick prefers to play one-on-one with his friends rather than a large group. Despite his more toned down personality, Maverick still exhibits that trademark German Shepherd loyalty. He’s always right by our staff’s side, ready at a moment’s notice. His noble looks, tender personality, and steadfast devotion makes him a staff favorite here at the Dog Lodge! Congratulations on becoming our December Dog of the Month, Maverick! It’s well deserved.

We are excited to announce our new January Dog of the Month, Nisu! The darling Havanese is quite the spunky little gal. She is always so eager to see her friends, loving every minute she spends here. She is an affectionate little lady who, like her Finnish name indicates, is oh so sweet! Since the day she started coming here she has never ceased to put a smile on our faces. We love you Nisu, and are proud to call you our January Dog of the Month!

Meet our February Dog of the Month, Brody! This handsome Goldendoodle is a frequent flyer in our Specialized Senior Care program. Brody is a high maintenance boy but we love him nonetheless. He spends most of his days here lounging on the stuffed beds and seeking attention from anyone willing to give it to him. Brody is also quite the fancy lad, he is always well groomed and looking dapper. After all these years spent with us we are finally happy to announce him as our dog of the month! Love you, Brody!

Meet our March Dog of the Month, Miss Bree! This beautiful Bouvier des Flanders is unique to our crew here, as she is our one and only of this breed. Her rough coated, rugged appearance is nothing like her sweet, soft, reserved demeanor. We enjoy seeing the many hairstyles of Bree as her coat gets very long and you can hardly see her face. All of a sudden she will show up with a diva haircut and look like a different dog. This sophisticated girl is a delight to have in playgroup as she gets along with everyone, especially her best friend, Meesha! She is a kind soul, much like her humans. Bree is an all-around great dog and we love having her as part of our “regulars”. We love you, Bree

Meet Tyson, our April Dog of the Month! Not only is this boy incredibly handsome, he also happens to be one of the sweetest, most well mannered dogs at our facility. Tyson started here when he was just a puppy and has blossomed into a fantastic adult dog. He is very quick to make friends with just about anyone who is game to wrestle and romp around. He is also eager to cuddle up on a bed with anyone willing to share their personal space. What a lover this dog is! We couldn’t ask for a better dog to make our April Dog of the Month. Thanks for being you, Tyson!

Please meet our June Dog of the Month, the wild and crazy Oliver! This dapper, young boy started here as a nervous pup and has now blossomed into a handsome, sociable party animal! Oliver is always game to romp, run, bark and play with anyone who is willing. He also is always seeking friendship from his canine peers in hopes that someone will become his new best friend for life. Not only is this boy exceptionally sweet, he is also very good looking. He has beautiful caramel-honey locks with natural curl. If we all could be so lucky as to have a mane like his. Between his personality and looks we’d have to say he has hit the jackpot! These are some of the many reasons why we have decided to make him our Dog of the Month for June. We love you buddy!

Introducing our July Dog of the Month, Miss Liesl. This sweet, young lady joined our daycare crew at about 6 months old. She was a shy girl with a lack of confidence. Now a year later, we would probably label her as Miss Congeniality of the group. Anyone who enters playgroup she is willing to befriend. Liesl is also good at keeping the infantile puppies entertained, which the older crew definitely appreciates. This kind-hearted lady is certainly one of the gentlest dogs in our groups as well. She has even opened her heart and home to our foster dog Moxie, accepting her in her pack without judgement. As you can tell she is just a great young dog with a heart of gold! All the staff here adores Liesl and are so happy to make her our July Dog of the Month.

Meet our August Dog of the Month, the infamous, party animal Libby! This quirky young lady has made her presence known since the day she walked in here; she borderline thinks she owns the place! Libby sounds the alarm and will immediately let us know if a stranger is present in her Dog Lodge territory. With her eccentric appearance and goofy personality she has won the hearts of many staff at The Dog Lodge. She is known as a favorite around here. Libby is always looking for attention from her human friends, but is also quite good being independent. She can keep herself entertained by sunbathing, playing with toys or guarding the large dog patio. This rambunctious girl is also smart as a whip and has tons of character. All of these reasons are why we have decided to name her our Dog of the Month. Our days were here wouldn’t be the same without all the energy she brings to the table. You are loved by all Miss Libby!

Meet our September Dogs of the Month, the bitties Lucy and Ethel. These adorable sisters have made The Dog Lodge their second home since the first day they walked in here four years ago. They commonly take over our senior area making sure to alert us of anything that occurs while we are not watching. Their favorite past time is lounging, as you can see from their picture. Any soft bed or blanket is immediately claimed by them. These ladies are delightfully silly with all their quirky mannerisms. They must have your attention when they want it. Also we must bring their food directly to their faces because making them come to you it’s just unacceptable in their books. The girls also love to snuggle and have their bellies rubbed. Some may call these senior gals demanding, but we have learned to love their stubborn demeanor’s as they keep us entertained on a daily basis. We at The Dog Lodge are so lucky to have these lovely ladies to cherish and that’s why they we are overjoyed to make them our Dogs of the Month!

Meet our October Dog of the Month Edward! This feisty, young dude has been a regular visitor since he was a little baby. Edward is pretty true to his breed, always involving himself in every little detail of playgroup. He corrals the dogs to make sure they are part of his wrestling pack on a daily basis. If others are not into his shenanigans, he is determined to let them know they should be playing. He bops around all day just searching for a good time. Edward also presents himself as quite the rebel, doing what he wants when he wants to do it. This personality trait hits in many ways with his insistent need for affection when he wants it and following the daily routine on his terms. This party animal is packed full of personality and keeps us on our toes when he’s here! This is why we have named him our October Dog of the Month, We love you Eddie!

Introducing our November Dog of the Month, Wyatt. This boy certainly knows how to party! He might just be the happiest dog we have ever met. No matter what why it is ready to wrestle and run around with his canine friends. He basically move so fast we hardly ever get to see his sweet face. This picture of him took quite some time and patience to get. Wyatt definitely has a enthusiasm for life and everything that comes with it. He greets people and all other dogs with open arms, a warm heart and a wagging tail. He has the sweetest soul! We are so happy to have this crazy, fun loving boy in our lives to make our days brighter. We love you Wyatt!

Meet our December Dog of the Month, Dexter! They don’t get much cuter than this guy. You can just tell by his big ears and expression filled face, how much personality he holds. Dexter lives for excitement and fun! He is just so very happy at every moment of the day. He loves all people and all dogs, sometimes a bit too much. We occasionally have to let him know that not every canine wants to be his BFF. We give him props for trying to befriend anyone who is present in his space. He insists on being the center of attention and being involved in every interaction. This handsome devil is just a joy to have around and keeps us smiling on a daily basis. We love you very much Mr. Dexter and are so proud announce you as our dog of the month!

We are excited to present to our January Dog of the Month, Nala! She is a very beautiful and confident Newfoundland, who has been filling the room with a personality as big as she is for almost two years. Nala is great at making friends here at the Dog Lodge and has been a crowd favorite in group. Many of our other dogs are drawn to her sassy and bubbly personality. This girl loves getting attention from all the employees, from neck scratches to playing with the toys. We are all so fortunate to spend our days with this beauty queen and that is why we are proud to make her our January Dog of the Month!

We are excited to announce Miss Macy as our February Dog of the Month! Macy is a beautiful, spunky Labrador Retriever whose presence fills the room with joy and amusement. Macy's calm demeanor and lovable personality make her a role model in our group. Macy loves to play with all types of dogs, but her real goal at the Dog Lodge is to get lots of love from our employees and we oblige! This sweet girl is so fun to have around, and it is impossible for her to not be the center of attention in our playgroups. In between romps with the crazy crew Macy relishes in laying on the patio and soaking in the sun. Spending our days with this wonderful girl has been a privilege and that is why we are honored to make her the Dog of the Month, love you Macy!

Meet our March Dog of the Month, Buddy! This cheerful fellow comes regularly for daycare and boy is he ecstatic when he gets here! You can hear his excitement walking right up to the front door. He lets everyone know his presence and should mostly be the center of attention, as do most of the herding breeds that come our way. Buddy loves to hang out with his favorite staff members throughout the day and look to them for positive reinforcement. Once he realizes he will get that, he's your absolute best friend I will follow you everywhere. Not only is Buddy a great companion, he has striking good looks with his piercing human like eyes and silky, soft coat. We're sure the other dogs must be jealous of his caliber and that is why we are pleased to make him our Dog of the Month. Love you Bud!

Announcing our April Dog of the Month, the notorious Dora! This sweet old girl is one of our most frequent overnight visitors here at the kennel we should probably name a wing of the facility after her! Dora is one of the most cheerful dogs you'll ever meet. She loves everyone and is always looking for someone that will give her attention. Dora's favorite past time is definitely eating. Most of the day she spends snoozing, but boy does she know when food is being made. She awakes out of a dead sleep and moves at the speed of light to get something in her belly. It really doesn't take much to keep this girl happy, food and love! We are also fortunate to be able to share Dora's senior years with her. We love you, girl!!

We are excited to announce our June Dogs of the Month, April & Aster! These super sweet Shar-Pei sisters like to spend their free time romping around our medium playgroup. We kind of refer to them as the bulldozers of the room, meaning, if there is a wrestling match in action watch out or you're going to get plowed over! It's all in good fun for these ladies as they are just being carefree and enjoying themselves. They both also have a sweet and affectionate side to them. They'll always snuggle up to their favorite employees and try to jump into their arms. It would seem sometimes they forget what size they actually are. These ladies really perk up the playgroup and our lives with their endless supply of energy and playfulness! We love you girls and honored to make you our June Dogs of the Month

We are ecstatic to announce or July Dog of the Month, the Marvelous Macklin! This lovable boy entertains the playgroup and gives us all something to smile about on a daily basis. Whether it is playing with toys, his furry buddies, the hose, or romping around in the pools, Macklin fully takes advantage of the fun that can be had at the Dog Lodge. We can honestly say he gets his money worth! This friendly guy constantly wants to make new friends with everyone and helps to make newer dogs feel welcome with his nonjudgmental nature. Macklin also freely gives out hugs, kisses, and cuddles as he is an extremely social pooch. We're proud to call this fun-loving goofball name Macklin our July Dog of the Month. We love you dude!

Meet our August Dog of the Month-Party Hardy as we like to call him! As his nickname states he is always the life of the party and happens to be one of the sweetest dogs in the entire facility, maybe even on the planet. This pooch can do no wrong! He accepts every dog he comes into contact with and is always super friendly. He loves all the employees no matter who it is because he doesn't play favorites. He just longs to be loved, pet, and held. He's also very tidy, as he never messes up any space that is not designated for that. Hardy looks and feels like a teddy bear, just look at him, dogs don't get much cuter than that! Altogether this boy is a perfect angel and we would take a million just like him. That is why we are so pleased to make him our August Dog of the Month. We love you Party Boy!

Meet our September dogs of the month: the awe-inspiring poodles, Murphy and Jojo! This lovable dual are by far some of the fanciest pooches we have at the Dog Lodge. Jojo‘s life mission is to be held, cuddled, and kissed on by our staff at all times. She is quite the princess, and we love her for it. She is a mellow little girl, yet is a majestic social butterfly. Murphy is known as our gentle giant, and we can honestly say that he is our best client when it comes to bathtime! He is an easy-going, laid-back boy who gets along with everyone. He is affectionate as well and also loves being worshiped by all the girls here at the Dog Lodge. Murphy is a total goofball, and the way he prances around like a deer never fails to put a smile on everyone’s face. These two are a special pair that we love very much and we are proud to call them or September Dogs of the Month!!

We are proud to announce our October Dog of the Month, Beatrix! This 10-year-old Leonberger has made her way through the Dog Lodge from playgroup to specialty senior care with style and grace. She is wise beyond her years and always acts like a lady. She is able to be friendly with anyone and everyone, human and canine, always offering a welcoming attitude as well as a kind sniff. She is able to keep company with almost every social senior. Beatrix as a very special lady. Among things such as her gorgeous locks, bright spirit, and smile-she has an impeccable palate. Enjoying delicacies such as filet mignon and salmon. We wish we were so lucky! She surely deserves this treatment as she is a one-of-a-kind. We love you Bea, and we are proud to make you our October Dog of the Month!

We are excited to announce our November Dog of the Month, Nikita! This energetic, playful German Shepherd Dog has grown and matured throughout her year spent here at the Dog Lodge. She is true to her breed and is always alert and watching everyone play, ready to jump in any moment. She is amazingly talented at catching any toy tossed her way and is relentless in persuading you to throw it at her for a game of fetch. She is well trained and can practice many tricks on demand! She’s a confident, adventurous young girl and enjoys her group of close knit friends. We really adore this striking beauty named Nikita and her thrilled to make her our November Dog of the Month!

We are so excited to announce our December Dog of the Month, Jules! This Labradoodle is quite the affectionate pup. She runs in every morning ready for some snuggles and love from all of our staff. She bonds with everyone here and shows her sweet spirit to human and canine alike. Jules is an energetic girl and loves to run around and keep her friends entertained. She also has a gentle side to her and every once in a while you’ll catch her cuddling one of her best friends for a quick nap. Jules is truly a gem here at the Dog Lodge as she makes every day a delight. We are proud to call miss Jules our December Dog of the Month! We love you!

Meet Miss Tilly.. This girl is just a fireball of excitement on a daily basis. Whenever she comes through our doors she can hardly contain her enthusiasm to get to her furry friends. Everyday she runs laps through the playgroup & gets her friends to chase her at high speed. She is definitely the life of the party & wants everyone to know that she is 1st in line for attention. We are so fortunate to get to watch this sweet young girl grow up. We love you Tilly!!

Meet Cooper!!! This handsome fellow is a member of our regular daycare crew. He is always so happy to greet all his buddies & let everyone know he is accepting of all new friends. This sweet boy definitely has a heart of gold!! One of Cooper's favorite pastimes while at The Lodge is showing off his soccer skills to others. He loves to play with the ball toys whether it be chase, keep away or just kicking it around. We are all so lucky to know & love this beautiful boy, Cooper

Meet Zoey, our March Dog of the Month. This sweet little girl started hanging out at The Dog Lodge when she was just a wee pup. She was nervous & insecure of her surroundings. Over the months we have watched her blossom into the more confident young lady she is now. She loves coming to daycare & interacting with all her furry sidekicks. Zoey is also quite affectionate with all the staff & will gladly push others out of the way to seek full attention. She knows that she is one of the cutest in playgroup. We here at The Dog Lodge are all so lucky to watch this darling princess grow up, We love you Zoey!!

We have deuces Dog of the Month for April. Meet brothers Pongo & Browning. Although these special boys are siblings, they differ in many ways. First we will start with Pongo, he has been a regular daycare dog here at The Dog Lodge since he was a young pup. He has always been full of energy since the beginning. We have watched him mature & become the dog he is now. Pongo loves to wrestle with his buddies & continually carries around the kong toys, trying to encourage others to play. We could say he is quite the independent soul, but enjoys occasional pets. Browning on the other hand, is a considerably laid back character. He enjoys relaxing on the beds in playgroup & getting his tummy rubbed, a lot!! He also likes to tell the others when they are getting a bit too intense & they should probably keep calm & carry on. It is such a joy to watch both of these beautiful boys grow up. We love you both, Pongo & Browning!!

Meet Miss Sadie. This sweet girl is so very special. She had a rough start in life, but now is living the dream life she deserves. We have watched Sadie blossom into the outgoing, affectionate, easy-going gal that she is. Even though she is petite, she lets all her big dog friends know she can run with the best of them. Sadie has quickly become a favorite amongst the staff at The Dog Lodge. We are fortunate to be able to spend several days a week with her & when she doesn't come for daycare, we all get a bit sad. All of us here at The Dog Lodge love this darling dog so very much & are proud to make her our Dog of the Month.

Meet our June Dog of the Month, Roxie 💜 This girl is just the sweetest thing ever! No matter what, she is always happy. Whenever she comes for a visit she is so excited to get through the door to see her buddies. Her tail wags a mile a minute. Roxie makes quick friends with everyone, she is so accepting of all other dogs. She loves to wrestle with anyone who is game & doesn't tire easily. Not only does she have a winning personality, she is a beautiful dog. Probably the cutest Springer Spaniel you will ever see! We love you Roxie & are proud to make you our June Dog of the Month.

Meet our July Dog of the Month, Duque... This sweet little guy has one of the biggest hearts. He is always up for making new friends & helping the new guests feel comfortable. He is somewhat the peacemaker of our extra small dogs, he will accept any other guest & show them the ropes. Duque is happy with just about anything. He loves to wrestle & play, sit in your lap and get cuddled at any moment. He is just about the perfect dog! We are all very thankful at The Dog Lodge that we get to spend our days with this awesome little pup. We ❤️ you Duque & are happy to make you our July Dog of the Month.

Meet our August Dog of the Month, Champ! This guy is one of the most intelligent dogs that we have the pleasure to care for. He is also always so well-behaved. Champ spends most of his days at The Dog Lodge analyzing what goes on around him. You can always see that he is thinking about what move he should make next. This is true to his breed, Border Collie to think before he acts. He strategically watches all the toys in playgroup & when is ready, he obtains his prize. Champ is also a very affectionate & sweet character. He is always up for some cuddle time with the staff. We are so doggone lucky to have this great dog as our August Dog of the Month. We love you Champ!

Meet our September Dog of the Month, Miss Banjo! This beautiful, little Beagle has been visiting us since she was just a tiny pup. She basically has grown up with The Dog Lodge. Banjo is a great representative of the Beagle breed. She has all the characteristics of the breed, but in a mild kind of way. Therefore, she knows when to use her nose & voice properly. We love this about her! She also is very loving & accepting of all her canine friends. She is a gentle player, but will also join in wrestle mania when the situation calls for it. Banjo learned her social skills at a very young age, so that's why she is so well-balanced. She also loves affection from all of our staff. We are all so very lucky to get to spend our days with Banjo & are honored to make her our September Dog of the Month. We love you Banjo!

Meet our October Dog of the Month, Miss Sugar! As her name suggests, she is sweet as can be. Sugar has been attending daycare regularly for the last couple months, so we have gotten to know her quite well. Not only is she a beautiful young dog, she also is very intelligent. We could tell right away that she observes & thinks before she acts. Sugar also has a very playful side to her. She loves to wrestle & run around with her furry buddies. Don't let her good looks fool you though, she is a confident girl & will stand her ground with anyone who thinks they may be tougher than her. Altogether, she is a great example of a Labrador Retriever & we are proud to make her our Dog of the Month for October. We ❤️ you Sugar!!

Meet our November Dog of the Month, Chubbs!!! This handsome little pup has been with us since he was just a little tike. He has reached celebrity status here at The Dog Lodge & Dandy Acres, and steals the hearts of everyone who comes his way. He can’t get enough of all the attention. He has many furry friends and helps the new guys feel welcome and at home. His best four legged friends can’t wait for him to get here so they can play! This month starts the season of giving and sharing. There is so much to be thankful for and Chubbs is just the beginning here at The Dog Lodge. We are proud to give him the title of November Dog of the Month!

Meet our December Dog of the Month, Oreo. This beautiful girl started hanging with our daycare crew when she was just a baby. Now, she's almost all grown up & spends her free time in our medium playgroup. Oreo's mission everyday at The Dog Lodge is toy patrol. No matter what, she is always assessing the toy situation within her play area, making sure that she obtains the one she wants & no one else gets it. It's somewhat obsessive, but her Border Collie mind-frame tells her to do so. All we can say is play-on Oreo & have fun! Other times you can find her playing soccer or wrestling with her crew. We are all so fortunate to know & love our December Dog of the Month, Miss Oreo.
